That sounds like a nice addition. I’ll look into it.

    Hi @pareshmithra

Been looking into it. Should be able to release later this week. It will be off by default, because it adds a N+1 ‘problem’ to the query.

There will be a hook to activate. Also a hook to update the output. Default output is ‘date: message’ per note. Hope that’s ok for you.

Hi @pareshmithra, just wanted to let you know that I’ve added your request. Version 1.3.1 is out now. Please checkout the FAQ for enabling the notes for your form(s).

    Hi Doeke,

Thank you so much. I installed it but when I try to export the entries it is giving the following error.

“Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘class’ (T_CLASS), expecting identifier (T_STRING) in /URL/wp-content/plugins/gf-entries-in-excel/vendor/phpoffice/phpspreadsheet/src/PhpSpreadsheet/Calculation/Calculation.php on line 209”

    Please help.

    Hi @pareshmithra,

This is an odd one. It looks like a bug in the excel generator library.
Can you give me some info about your installation?

    PHP-version:
    Wordpress version:
    Gravityforms version:

Also, this might be strange, but can you remove the plugin, and redownload / install it? Maybe some file in the library got corrupted. Please let me know if this helps.

    EDIT:

Also, if the problem remains, can you perhaps export your form (no data required) and mail the exported file to [email protected]? Maybe it’s a edge case for your particular form. I’d like to fixed that ??

    Hi @pareshmithra,

I’m terribly sorry, but the problem seems to be the PHP-version you’re using. As of version 1.3.0 I’ve officially dropped php 5.3 (and unofficially as of 1.2.4).

The minimum requirement is now 5.6. I see I’ve forgotten to update the readme in 1 place, will be updating that now. But you can see on the plugin-page that the minimum is now 5.6.

Also, I should really suggest you update to at least php7.1. First off, it’s way faster that php 5. But also, php 5.4 has no more security patches. It’s has been EOL for some time. And php 5.6 only has support till the end of the year.

Again, I’m sorry for the misinformation on the plugin description. And I hope you are able to update. If not, you should revert you’re version to 1.2.3 for now.

    Hi Doeke,

Now I have updated the PHP Server. The current PHP version is 7.1. Now when I try to export the entries it says “This site can’t be reached” “The web page at URL/index.php?gfexcel_action=gf-entries-in-excel&gfexcel_hash=5b8TXDIvDbb2snT%2BLdT8dWLry6sqxS3MN6FF3fS9LQ4%3D might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.
    ERR_INVALID_RESPONSE”

    Hi Paresh,

This looks like an error concerning the entire website. Is the rest of wordpress available? If so, please re-enable the plugin And try to change the permalink structure to anything else.
