• Hi!

Will Pootle Pagebuilder keep the content after deactivating the plugin and then reactivating it? I have an issue with a code conflict on my site and need to figure out what is causing it.

The problem with my site is that the wp-adminbar for each page and post are not showing. Probably a Javascript conflict with a plugins. I deactivated my Theme and all other plugins, but was a bit unsure if my laouts and contents would be lost if I deaktivated Pootle Pagebuilder.

If I can’t find the issue, I might want to migrate my site to a fresh install of WordPress. Is there any way to also export/import the layout and content of Pootle Pagebuilder for pages? Or do I need to make each page from the start on the new site?

    Thanks for your help!

    Hi,

Yes Pootle Pagebuilder will keep the content after deactivating it and then reactivating it,

My hunch is that its a simple plugin conflict and you won’t need to migrate your site.

    But let me know ??

    Hi!

I tried to deactivate the theme I was using and all plugins. But still I could not see the wp-adminbar. So the issue is not a code conflict with Pootle Pagebuilder.

I sent my host an email-ticket to check if anything is wrong on their backend:

Chat-support at this hosting provider suggested I try a manual update of WordPress, using FTP I deleted the folders WP-admin and WP-includes and copied in a new fresh install of those two folders only. This didn’t help anything. PHP-error-reporting and WordPress debugging showed that one plugin didn’t work with PHP-version7, so it was changed to version 5.6. Then I was advised to manually update WordPress again and test the site with a default theme and no plugins activated. This didn’t work either.
