• It used to work then experienced erratic behavior.
    – Yes, configurations are set properly.
    – Yes, I used bulk tool to apply to all product pages.
    – Yes, I’ve disabled caching.

It shows sometimes, or not at all. It works on some products and then other times, it works on other products. Completely erratic behavior.

  • Oliver,

Hello, I am the owner of the site which treeflips commented on. I did as you asked. I disabled all plugins except woocommerce and paypal. The problem did not go away. I have disabled cdn as well. I then tried the storefront theme with no luck either. It did the same thing. It shows up for some products and then doesn’t show up at all. These express buttons was the #1 reason we chose your plugin. Could you have a look at the site to see what might be causing it? I would appreciate it.

    Thanks,
    Robert

I’ve now gotten it to the point where it doesn’t show up…BUT…if I hard-refresh the page, it definitely shows up.

Can you tell me if the buttons are dependent on your 3rd party script?

    https://www.paypalobjects.com/api/checkout.min.js
    – maybe I have to manually include this call somehow?
    – perhaps a better question is what is the very first script or call that needs to run to activate the express checkout buttons?

    Hi, Oliver
I have exact same problems on my website.
Express buttons missing on Product pages
and It shows sometimes but it appears really late, or not appears at all.
    How can we solve it?

I’ll put up the staging account soon. But may I ask…why can’t you have those buttons load locally? Making a 3rd party request to PayPal slows down the site.

I’ve emailed the login credentials to the staging site!

Hi Guys, You ticket was received and replied accordingly.
    Thanks!

Hi Oliver, the issue has resurfaced again. It is not showing the paypal express buttons on newly added products. Can you help us out with this please?

Hi @jbib, Are you using some CDN or cache plugins? Also did you enabled express checkout button for the newly added product?

    Oliver,

Thanks for that help. The new products, the paypal button were not checked. Is there any way to change a setting so that they automatically are turned on for new products?

    Hi @jbib,

Well we dont have something like that but you can enable this check in settings: https://prntscr.com/k1h8n1 to show that at product level, you will see a bulk edit tool link, click on that and that will take you to bulk edit tool page where you can enable EC button on all added products at once.

Please check those and let me know if you still have any other questions or concerns.
    Thanks
    Oliver
