Express Checkout

  • Hi,

    I just got an email from our Paypal merchant account and they said the following:

    The current PayPal solution on your website – Website Payments Standard will not be supported from next year,
    By integrating Express Checkout (PayPal Checkout), your customers will be able to checkout in 3 clicks.

    Does the above effect in anyway the new change that is coming in your QPP plugin?

    I’m sorry but have no idea what that message you got is about.

    QPP uses PayPal Standard Payments, the same technology that drives millions of websites ‘buy now’ buttons.

    I have seen no messages about retiring PayPal Standard or not supporting it and have searched the PayPal developers pages for any such information and could find none.

    I currently have no plans to provide Express Checkout or any other advanced merchant integrations at this stage.
