    Hello,
    I need to build a timeline that includes fictional future events far beyond the year 2050. Can I somehow alter the code to make it possible. Most events will have a year date only to show, but some important events will have month and year or even day, month and year. It seems to be impossible to create timelines that don’t use the very same date format and length for every event post.

    You can easily create events timeline with future dates using our plugin PRO version. You can also extends Stories Years.
    And If you would like to add custom date format and custom label for each story. You can create timeline using Custom timeline feature.Please check custom timeline demo and doc’s.

    I have the PRO version and already started using custom dates/labels. Yet, I found this a quite tedious workaround. Giving every single date a unique order number to display in the correct order is very difficult if you handle several hundred dates. Also, you can only assign 199 order numbers, your timeline will be limited to 199 entries. If, for any reason, one custom date needs to change its place in the timeline, it’s impossible to rearrange 198 other dates by hand.

    I guess the plugin was not exactly built for creating fictional far future event timelines with many entries…
