    Hi

When I set up a recurring event in Events Made Easy, it asks for an end date and creates individual events up to that end date. I am setting up events for an association with 80+ groups, all of which have meetings on a weekly or monthly basis. That means that, at some point, I will need to go through every group and change the start and end dates of the recurring meetings.

To make maintenance easier is there any way to automatically extend recurring meetings by x instances?

If not, is there some way to set a reminder when a recurrence is coming to an end?

    Thanks

    Ian

    Hi Franky

You were right, it was something to do with browser caching (the site is still in development so we have no caching implemented at the moment). I did ctrl-f5 to force a clear of my browser cache and then ran the bulk change again. This time it worked perfectly, ignoring anything which already had an end date beyond the new one and extending those recurrences which it needed to.

This enhancement is an excellent addition to an already great plug-in. Thanks very much for developing it. With over 100 recurring events to manage it will make my life much easier.

Btw: the dev-version now also contains the possibility to copy a recurrence.

    Getting better all the time.

How long do you think it will be until the Dec goes live?

Soon (in fact, when I feel it is ready to go) ??
And the next version will allow you to search on an event name too (in the recurrences pane)

    Great thanks

Btw, I found that extending events with many events could result in a php mem issue. This is now fixed (for extending events) and mem usage improved when editing a recurrence too.

    Thanks again Franky.
