Hi and thanks for your fantastic plugin!

I’ve followed the guidance to extend an existing taxonomy (as I’d like to list ‘County’ as an additional category in my Post edit panel).

When I create a new pod and select to ‘extending existing’, instead of being asked to name the Pod (after selecting ‘taxonomy’) I’m only given a 2nd dropdown with taxonomy options. This doesn’t match examples I’ve seen on YouTube and I’m left with a Pod called ‘Category’ rather than a bespoke named one – I also don’t have an ‘advanced option’ tab to be able to associate this Pod with Posts?

Any advice on why this is happening would be appreciated.
    Thank you.

That would be creating a new Taxonomy, not extending an existing one.

Extending built in Category means you want to add new fields (term meta) to WP Category Taxonomy or you want to enable Pods Templates to work on Category

Thanks for the quick response Jim…serves me right for following a YouTube video I found…they selected extension option hence why I couldn’t figure it out. All sorted now, thanks very much.
