Extending the query loop block

  • I have created a block variation of the Query Loop block with the hope of showing future posts. In the attributes query I have used status: ‘future’ is this correct or is status not an available attribute in this block variant? At the moment the block variant works but shows a standard list i.e. no future posts. Any suggestions!

  • There’s no taxonomy related to unpublished posts (drafts).

    You could create category or even custom post type with the slug “future-posts” to store only the title and short description of the upcoming posts, and list them with the default Query Loop Block.
