External attachment not sent in auto-reply email

  • Hi. I know how to attach any file uploaded from the user filling my form.

    But I’m trying to use the mail(2) to set a auto-reply with a PDF attached.

    I tried a direct http link, code generated with a download plugin, ftp code and a small ASCII of Cthulhu, nothing seems to work.
    Anyone else has this issue?

    Could it be my server settings that doesn’t allow it?
    Any help is appreciated.

  • You should upload the PDF somewhere (either on your server, or on your CDN) and simply link to the PDF in your mail(2) message body.

    Thank you for the reply.

    But I’m afraid that’s not an attachment, its a link.
    The idea was to send the PDF attached with the email.
