The plugin doesn’t work with WooCommerce external links products? What happens if you do not have any orders or clients? The plugin keeps Sync…?

    Hey @sroskylo1

Thanks for posting. The plugin is designed to sync over products and orders that have been made within the WooCommerce store connected to your WordPress site. If there are not any products or orders, I would not expect the plugin to sync anything over, though you would have the option to use e-commerce features in MailChimp such as Product Recommendations and Abandoned Cart Automations.

All that said, would you mind offering a bit more context on how these external products in your store are setup and exactly what unexpected behavior you are seeing? I would be glad to help investigate and troubleshoot this with you further.

    Thanks,

I have products in WooCommerce store and not orders because the users go to website to complete the purchase. Its an coupon affiliate website. I wanna use the features in MailChimp such as Product Recommendations but its keeps show that is keep syng.. I place in the MailChimp template the product rec or product but not show up any products.

    Inside WordPress plugin i get:

    Sync Progress

    Account Connected: myaccount

    List Connected: myaccount

    Products: 0/451

    Orders: 0/0

And inside the MailChimp panel i get
    Syncing list: myaccount
and the loading icon keeps loading. for 3 days now.

I dont have setup the Abandoned Cart Email and Product Retargeting Email or Order Notifications.

I just wanna use the recommended products or to place some specific products inside MailChimp template.

    That’s all ??

    Hey there @sroskylo1

Thanks for clarifying that for me. We should be able to sync over those products without any orders, and I can help investigate what might be holding up that sync progress. Often, this can be a holdup due to not meeting the minimum server requirements to run the plugin or due to a conflicting plugin also active on the site.

    – Can you share the site’s WooCommerce System Status Report?
    – Does the sync start if you fully deactivate, delete, and reinstall the plugin?
    – Does the sync start if you switch the site to a different theme?
    – Does the sync start if you deactivate all plugins except WooCommerce and MailChimp for WooCommerce?

Thanks in advance for this. I’ll keep an eye out for your reply.
