We had a problem where users could not purchase external products so I did a clean
test install of WordPress 6.0.1 and WooCommerce 6.7.0. No other plugins are enabled and it’s using the twentytwentytwo theme. Cleantalk version is 5.181

    Steps to reproduce:

    • Clean install as above
    • create an external product
    • navigate to that external product’s page
    • click Buy Now button

    What happens:
    The page reloads

    What should happen:
The user should be taken to the URL of the external product

If cleantalk is disabled, it works as expected.

    Additional Info:
There are no useful messages or errors in the javascript console.
It’s possible to workaround this by adding https://<domain>/product/ to the URL excludes in the cleantalk advanced settings.

    Hello @wu-wei

Could you please try to install the fix-version of our plugin? It contains some fixes that could resolve the issue.

    Here is a small guide:

    Download link: https://github.com/CleanTalk/wordpress-antispam/releases/download/fix-version/cleantalk-spam-protect.zip

    1. Go to WordPress Administrator Panel —> Plugins.
    2. Find the plugin “Anti-Spam by CleanTalk” —> Deactivate.
    3. After the automatic page refreshing find the plugin again “Anti-Spam by CleanTalk” —> Delete. Confirm “Yes, delete these files”.
    4. Download the plugin archive from the link above.
    5. Go to Plugins —> Add New —> Upload Plugin.
    6. Choose the downloaded archive and press “Install Now”.
    7. The “Protect external forms” and “Protect internal forms” options must be On in the Anti-Spam plugin settings

Please let us know the results.

    Hey @amagsumov,

The fix version indeed corrects the issue. Nice work, and thank you!

I’ll test again when the next official version is released.
