External server to store the backups

Hello,

Finally today we got the backup and restore feature for the multisite. That’s great.

One thing that is really missing now, is an option to let us set the external server as the storage.

Here is the thing: if the website is hacked, or even worse if the hack happens at the server level, no matter how perfectly the backups and staging sites were set up, there is a high chance we end up having nothing.

But storing the backups in an external server, we’ll have much more freedom to protect and work on the files.

Is there any plan to add such a feature? if so, any ETA, please?

and if not, I hope you consider adding this critical feature.
