    Hi,

What i am trying to achieve is to upload all of our suppliers products into woocommerce and pull the pricing from their website and then add our markup on to display on our website. Is this possible ?
The reason is that supplier prices will change so we would like to be able to control our profit margins accordingly.

An example would be one of our suppliers is Exertis UK. We would like to upload their product list into woocommerce and the product would be linked to their site but show up on ours but the display price will be marked up with our margin.
So this product link -> exertis.co.uk/stationery/pencil could be added to our woocommerce store and would pull the price from exertis and we could add our margin on top and display this to the public, so if their pricing changes so does ours.

Hope this is possible as i don’t fancy updating 20,000 products manually all the time :S

Thanks in advance for any help or direction
    Steve

This would need to be a custom solution as it would need to be tailored specifically to how/where you are getting this information.

For example did you want to pull the product information directly from your supplier’s website? Would you want this to look for a specific file at a designated URL and read/pull from that? Or would you want your supplies to send a file to your site and have it done that way?

Additionally, the information would need to be in a set format as it would need to know what information goes where in WooCommerce. Otherwise, it wouldn’t know if it’s looking at a price field, or an inventory field.

For all of these reasons, you aren’t likely to find a pre-made plugin that will work for you off the shelf.

Depending on the process you have in mind or if all of your suppliers will use the exact same process – you can try searching Google for solutions. Likely though, you will need to hire a developer to build something catered specifically to your needs.

    Hi Steve,
