External url not working – themify ULTRA

  • Theme & page builder: Themify Ultra, latest version
    Gallery: original WP
    Other image plugin: TinyPNG Compress JPEG & PNG images
    WP installation: 5.4

    It used to work fine, but now the galleries don’t show the option to go to external url as indicated in the options below that one. You can still fill in the custom url and the _newpage indicator, but at the top you can only select the attachment page, image itself, or none.
