External URL's in Media Library

  • Hey there!

    First of all, i am very sorry for my bad english but im searching for a solution over the last months. Since im definitly not deep into php or other stuff like that i decided to ask here.

    My problem is very simple. Im using a based on the media library team plugin out of a theme i recently bought. This plugin uses post pictures as the images of team members.

    Im using this plugin to display MMORPG characters and as you may know, there look changes plenty of times. The easyest way to provide me from updating 20 pictures every day is to link to the armory of the MMORPG provider and use the URL to the character picture that i otherwise download from there.

    Since the link is the same but the picture changes, i wont have any work with it.

    The problem i got is, that the URL field is greyed out so i cant change it. Im pretty sure i could change it via Phpmyadmin but this is still a bit to much work.

    Does anyone of you guys know how to enable the url field in media library pictures to embed external pictures?

    Edit: After some time googleing again, i found this plugin:

    Im not sure if it would work with the team plugin or just with posts so i wont purchase it but this is properly what im looking for.
