Extra Favicon

    Hi,

    I have added a favicon ICO file with 3 small images using the theme customize option. That works fine. But I would like to add also a large favicon in PNG format. I cannot add a second Favicon with the theme customize option.
    Could you please tell me how I can do this?

    Do you mean second upload option ‘Web Clip Icon’ isn’t working for large favicon ?

    Hi,

    I have uploaded a web clip icon (152×152), but sometimes it’s not working:
    For example, on my Android tablet on the Dolphin home page the icon is an up scaled small one (you can see it is pixelated). And when I send a bookmark to my home screen with Firefox, the icon is also pixelated and blurred. The only browser I use that displays the large web clip icon is Opera.

    I was thinking that maybe I could try adding one or more extra PNG icons with different names or sizes, but how?

    Currently theme support two icon: favicon and webclip icon (targeted for Apple device). As Site Icon feature is going to be included in WordPress 4.3, we will be removing it from theme. WP 4.3 is going to be releasing in third week of August.
