Extra fields won’t set default values

  • If you set, say, both a CF7 and this plugin’s select field (dropdown menu), giving them both default selected options, only the native one applies the selected=”selected” attribute to the rendered field. This also applies to checkboxes and radio buttons.

    Now, this is an obvious bug on an otherwise good plugin and so should normally just be posted on the support forum rather than as a review to allow the author to respond and fix. But in this case not a single support request has been responded to on the forum. So what is the point of recording it there?

    It is interesting to note that an issue with default values has been recorded as fixed on the paid version changelog.

    That is why I am giving it only a one-star review, and I am now being forced to pay $19 to get the pro version in order to get this bug fixed.
