• Hi,

    We’re using Yoast SEO.

    In the source code of the affected page, I see:

    <link rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" title="Mandoe &raquo; Feed" href="https://mandoemedia.com/feed/" />
    <link rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" title="Mandoe &raquo; Comments Feed" href="https://mandoemedia.com/comments/feed/" />
    <link rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" title="Mandoe &raquo; Vitamin Discount Promotion Template Comments Feed" href="https://mandoemedia.com/templates/medical/pharmacies/vitamin-discount-promotion-template/feed/" />

    Note that https://mandoemedia.com/templates/medical/pharmacies/vitamin-discount-promotion-template/feed/ doesn’t exist.

    Is this caused by Yoast SEO or WordPress?

    Thanks.

  • Hi @srd75,

    I can confirm that Yoast SEO is not adding the alternate feed links.

    This problem could be happening because of a caching plugin.
    It seems that you are using NitroPack. Could you try to disable this plugin and see if that helps?

    If you are new to troubleshooting issues in WordPress let me introduce you to the Health Check Plugin.

    NitroPack support confirmed that NitroPack is not causing this.

    Hi @maartenj

    I used the Health Check plugin to troubleshoot the issue.

    Enabling the plugins one by one did not show the extra incorrect /feed/ in the page source.

    Enabling the correct theme didn’t show the extra incorrect /feed/ either.

    I was looking in the source code in the browser that I was logged into.

    However, looking at the source code of an alternative browser showed the extra incorrect /feed/ was still there, even after clearing the NitroPack cache for that page.
