Extra line in cart

    Presently the basket is arranged as follows:
    Sub total
    Coupon discount
    Shipping
    VAT
    Total
    I would like to add an additional sub total after shipping so it will be the total of those above and then show the VAT and grand total.
    In addition, I’d want that same arrangement to apply to the emails and invoices produced by the system.
    Is that doable? Thanks

  • Yes. WooCommerce has a template system for these elements. So the approach would be to make a child theme and copy the relevant templates into a woocommerce directory in your child theme. Then edit the copies to your requirements. WooCommerce will use the copies in preference to the default templates.

    What you need is non-trival so PHP skills or a developer would be needed. Then there is the issue that occasionally WooCommerce will update the core templates and so your custom templates would need checking to ensure they remain compatible, and that would be an on-going burden/cost.
