  • Removed Infolinks and it works 100% fine now. I don’t use the plugin, just the code itself.

I would like to personally say “thank you” to sleepingshouldbeeasy! For her sacrifice of removing her ads just to test the waters here. Since, in the beginning, I thought it’s one of my adnetwork but not Adsense, I already removed my other networks except infolinks and adsense because I trusted these networks for 5 years now, without any issue. However, it turned out to be Infolinks. I can say it’s 100% but let us still observe until tomorrow. Then, we will let them know and link these discussions as their reference.

This happened to me as well over the last two days so I googled it and found this thread. I also have Infolinks on my site. ?? So, I will be really surprised if that’s not it. Also, in Safari and on mobile once in a while today my page would load, then go to a blank page with a single ad that looked like an adsense ad. Weird!

Changing infolinks to use site jquery in the plugin does not fix the issue.

I’ve disabled infolinks, lets see if it solves the issue for me as well.

    Hi…all

I’m also using infolinks , Should I deactivate the infolinks ads? facing the same problem

Appears so. I removed the script and haven’t had any issues since.

Edited/update: per the above poster stating a blank page went to a single ad – I’ve had issues with infolinks doing this in the past. What happens is the script doesn’t load in full and the visitor closes the ad before the script totally loads, which results in the blank page ad. I contacted infolinks about this before, which they seemed to fix. Probably a slow server issue if it’s the same thing. I think they use openX, which might be the culprit.

Infolinks got back to me and said the issue has been fixed.

Infolinks got back to me and said the issue has been fixed.

Same here. Anyone reactivated infolinks yet? Is it really fixed?

    Thanks!

I just reactivated it. I’ll post back my results.

    Update: seems good so far.

Thanks for the update. I also reactivated mine on monday, I’ve noticed however that my infolinks is registering about a quarter of the views it was prior to this issue (linear drop in revenue as well). Traffic has not changed since before the issue. Anyone else see this problem?
