Extra "pages" area on the left

Hi all!

Some plug-ins I’ve seen create their own “pages” section on the left side of the admin area. So that I have posts, pages and for example “events”.

To keep my list of pages tidy I’d like to add an extra area like this and call it “tickets”. I want the exact same functionality as the regular pages section.

How can I do this? Is there a plug-in that can create this for me?
