Extra registration fields

You can’t use that plugin. You have to upgrade to the paid version of ProfilePress to achieve that. See https://docs.profilepress.net/en/latest/configuration/custom-fields/

What do I do with the thousands of users (3900+) who already have profile fields using that plugin. Will your paid version convert those fields?

If the user extra fields are saved as WordPress user meta, then yes, ProfilePress can pick them up.
