Extra space at top/sides and content not going to footer

Hi, I’m making an attempt at my first full width theme, and It’s become a bit more cumbersome than I expected.

I’m trying to make it basically 3 parts. a top wrapper for the header, middle wrapper for content, and bottom wrapper for the footer.

I’ve set the html, body margin and padding to zero yet I have extra space between the top and header. As well as extra space to the right.

Also, you’ll notice that the sidebar won’t quite go inside my middle wrapper which does not want to extend to the bottom. Any ideas? Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
