• Hello,

On the phone view, there is about 600px of extra space after the footer. The desktop and tablet view is fine. Is there a way I can delete this extra space?

    Thanks,

    Hi there,

Is that on Android or IOS? Also, what browser are you using? I checked my test website on my phone (IOS + Safari) and I am not seeing what you are referring to. Can you perhaps send a screenshot?

Thanks! I hope this helps and let us know how we could help you further.

    Kind Regards,
    Michael

I am using an iphone. I am also editing this on my windows computer on Firefox and the same extra padding is appearing. Now I deactivated Kadence and sent a test email from woocommerce and no extra padding was added. When I reactivated Kadence and sent a test email the extra padding was back.

I don’t know how to send a screenshot here.

    Hi @c00die,
You can use a source like this to send screenshots: https://imgbb.com/

    Thanks!

    Thank you Hannah!

I have uploaded 2 images. The 1st pic is the email at the top. The 2nd is the email at the bottom. I added some color to show what sections were being extended. The blue is the #wrapper and it is showing normal. But the red is the #body and that is what is showing extended at the bottom of the email.

    Hello Again ??

I noticed that on the phone view there are scroll bars at the bottom and the side. I took some screenshots of the desktop view, the tablet view, and the phone view. Nor the desktop or tablet have the scroll bars, only the phone view.

Also I changed the colors, blue = the body and green = the wrapper.

    I hope this helps,

    Hey @c00die,
It looks like your email does not have enough content to push it to the bottom, so extra spcae is being created. If you want to add more content to your email you can, but you can’t force a footer to stick to the bottom of whatever email viewport you happen to be viewing on. Does this make sense?

    Kindly,
    Hannah

    Hi Hannah,

I have taken more pictures to show that its not the email content. I took pictures of the customer invoice and how it appears on the desktop, the tablet, and the phone. For all images, I scrolled to the bottom of the page to show you the difference in the extra space at the bottom of the email on the phone vs the tablet and desktop view.

    Hey @c00die,
I haven’t heard of others experiencing this. Have you tried deactivating the woocommerce email designer plugin to test if this still happens?

    Kindly,
    Hannah

Yes, I have deactivated everything on my site, only reactivated woocommerce and Kadence. I have changed the theme to Twenty Twenty One and still that extra space appears for the phone view. I am not sure what it is.

This is only in your emails, correct? Have you tested on a different mobile device? Have you tried reaching out to WooCommerce support?

This appears on my iPhone and desktop, whether I use IE or Firefox. The first pics were from my phone and the second pics were from my desktop.

    (@hannahritner)

Just to confirm, this happens even with the kadence woocommerce email designer plugin deactivated, correct? Does this happen for all emails, or only woocommerce emails? Again, it may be best to contact WooCommerce support as the issue does not seem to fall on this plugin.

    Kindly,
    Hannah

    Hello,

Just to follow up. I ended up using the fluid template. I got someone from Guru.com to fix the extra space at the bottom. She used #template css with max-width 100%.

I appreciate you both for trying to help me.

Glad you were able to get this resolved! Let me know if there’s anything else I
    can help you with!
