Extra text printed out below form fields

  • Hi Michael,

    I have just updated to the latest version of the plugin, both standard and premium, and my forms are now getting some extra text printed out below each field. As shown in the blue circled parts on the screenshot I uploaded here:-

    The code for them is <code>post_content</code>

    I know that I can hide them with css, but I wanted to know if that was the best way or maybe I have some debugging feature enabled which I can’t find.

    p.s. did you get a chance to look into making the page jump to the form after the form is submitted. Useful if the form is on a long page as otherwise the user has no idea if they were successful or not.

    Can you clear the cache?

    Those field helpers shouldn’t be showing up and they’re not on my dev and live system. They’re there for the settings page.

    I’m still working on the form jump. I’ll try again before releasing new versions tomorrow or Tuesday.

    Hi Michael,

    thanks for the reply, clearing the cache helped me with a testimonial search issue I was having, not sure about the extra data issue as by then I had hidden them with css.

    Jake, I’ve got the focus issue fixed. It’ll release within 48-hours. I’m still awaiting further beta testing results.
