    Hello,

We recently upgraded our website to use Extra theme by Elegant Themes (Partly to make your plugin display correctly due to issues with our old theme). We just noticed now when we create various category views for our front page we noticed horizontal lines appear above each post title. We noticed this is the case with the past many versions of the Extra theme and the current one v4.8.1. We disabled all our plugins and would turn them back on 1 by 1 and found that the Business Directory was creating this issue. I then went through all the Business Directory settings one by one and none of them would make the lines go away.

Can you advise what I need to change be it in CSS or somewhere that your plugin in causing these horizontal lines?? We have used your plugin for many years and love it so want to make it get along with our new website theme.

Here are the links to see what I am talking about:

Here is the site with out the Business Directory plugin turned on. (Plugin deactivated)

    CORRECTION:
The 1st link in the my previous post is wrong and should be this:
https://test2.8bitboyz.com/2.png (Showing the page with Business Directory deactivated)

    2nd link is:
https://test2.8bitboyz.com/1.png (Showing the page with Business Directory active)

P.S. Wanted to also add a correction to the previous post, our theme were using, “Extra” is a DIVI theme and the versions is 4.18.1 (latest build), not 4.8.1. (Again the mentioned issue is happening with all previous versions of this DIVI theme also)

Thank you and hope these corrections help. ??

    Hey @palkat

Thank you for reaching out about this. I’m sorry that you’re having this issue.

That seems to be a premium theme that we don’t have access to in order to reproduce the issue. Would you be willing to contact us directly for further support on this? Even going to the site it’s a bit of a challenge to highlight those lines!

If you would, please contact us with a link to this forum thread https://businessdirectoryplugin.com/contact/

    Hi Bobbied!

Thank you for the reply, I just created a ticket on that URL you posted, I included in my ticket the link to this thread along with some other info to my STAGGED site so you all can get in to that via the backend and look around also.

Looking forward to hearing back from you all as to what can be done to help out on this.

    thanks again!
    Shane.

    Thanks @palkat !

I sent you an email reply this morning – the CSS that is causing those lines does not appears to be coming from Business Directory Plugin but we’ve sent you info on the file where it is coming from. I hope that helps resolve this issue!

    Best,

    ~Bobbie

    Hi Bobbied,

Thank you for reaching out to me on here and through your support site.

I made the correction to the css file that the developer saw was the issue and it fixed everything perfectly! I will include my changes down below in the event anyone else in the future might have a similar issue with a DIVI theme.

Please thank your developer for me as you all do such a great job with this product and your support has always been the best for the years I have used Business Directory. You all are quick and very spot on with the fixes!

    Thanks again.

As for my fix for anyone else that might need it, the top horizontal boarders that appear on my category listings and on my themes homepage for each WP post were removed by chaing this code:

       Update wpbdp.css located @ ../wp-content/plugins/
       change " border-top:6px solid; "  to ->  "  border-top:0px solid; "
