Extra title appearing

  • Hello,

    I’m hoping someone can help.

    I’ve got my latest product’s title appearing on my shop page but have no idea why and no idea how to remove it. It also updates to the latest product’s title each time i add a new product.

    For reference, i’ve set my variable under product – ‘Product Archive / Shop Page’ to this shop page in the woocommerce setting.

    Also for reference ‘Tea Packages’ is my actual page title which is showing lower.

  • This is the intro message, but why it should be there when its for the homepage only, or how you set it I don’t know. However, you can hide it with some custom css:

    .woocommerce #intro {display:none}

    Hi there,

    Thanks so much although i already had a title in the page – i also tried re-creating the page from stretch which had a title in there too.

    Thanks for the code the comment it out – will try this. It’s just sad that it won’t take my page title as the title to follow the styles.
