  • That toolbar only has those options for you.

Nobody else will be able to edit anything on your site.

If you allow people to sign up for your site, then when they log in, they would see that bar, but without the admin options. They would only have the option to edit their profile in it. If you don’t allow anyone to sign up, then the bar won’t even appear.

That bar is part of WP, you don’t want to get rid of it. When WP3.3 comes out soon, more options will be added to the bar. It’s pretty important.

Thanks for your help I tried looking at my website in firefox and that bar did not show up. Is it because I use chrome to do all my posting etc in the the dashboard that chrome remembers me?

    Most likely.

You only see the bar if you are logged in. So if you haven’t signed in to your site using Firefox, then the bar wouldn’t display, since you aren’t logged in.

But since you have logged in to your site using chrome, it keeps you logged in. Were you to log out using chrome, the bar would go away.

Thanks never thought of that just tried it and you are right. thanks very much it was puzzling me.
The other problem I have is that the campaigns do not seem to work they did the first day but since then nothing has been added to my site I tried back dating but nothing must be something simple I am not doing.

the campaigns do not seem to work

I’m not sure what that means? What is a campaign? ARe you using some sort of plugin or something? Since this isn’t a core part of WP, I’m not sure to what you are referring
