Extra week in month view & Formatting event to fit

Hello!
Referring to this calendar:
https://www.goldenrod.org/blog/calendar-of-eventsYou can see that there is an extra week showing up in the month view. Could I fix that?
Also, you can see the the event names are cut off. Is there a way to have them wrap or to resize them so they fit without being cut off?
