Extract without formatting text

The PHP function strip_tags applied to the content before it is added to wordpress posts, is the way to go. But I don’t know how you’ve coded this. Where would I add this into your code so that it removes all the html tags ?

Can close this, I found a way to do it, but not via your software unfortunately. Even though I modified the RSS output to straight text, it still gets imported with a bunch of unneccessary HTML.

Contacted five filters, who said to contact you about straight text. I’ve solved it anyway using wpematico, which has the option to strip html from the content.
