    Hello, everyone!

Using Google’s Structured Data Testing Tool, the following error occur. I think this is a common issue with WordPress setups, so I wanted to see if anyone had a definitive solution for it.

    Error: Missing required field “entry-title”.
    Error: Missing required field “updated”.
    Error: Missing required hCard “author”.

I don’t think it is an issue with WordPress. There is no Internet standard that requires every website to obey Google. If you want yours to, there might be a plugin or theme that you can use to insert the extra data.

Thanks for the quick reply. I’ve performed a bit more research since posting this topic and have found that these errors can be fixed by simply adding a small bit of styling to a few of the theme’s files. While each theme has as different procedure, it’s still theme-specific.

    Hi

If you solved this, can you please guide me on how to solve it myself.

    Thanks

    Which theme are you using?

    Hi Andrew

I am using Backmybook, a theme for authors. It is working on blog posts, but not on the main page: https://killmenow.org.

    Thanks

Have you considered switching to a theme on www.ads-software.com: https://www.ads-software.com/themes/ (we support those) ?
