Extreme reduce resized image

    Greetings,

    Is there a way to reduce a resized picture.
    For example I have a main picture above my content which is 777px x 437px and is 45kb.

    I like to keep it 45kb to stay relatively perfect in quality.

    But resized picture of 390×205 is 26kb. (its already been reduced by ewwww).

    I guess I should to make the main picture smaller, to get a smaller resized size. But if you want to keep the main picture size like I mentioned…

    Is there still a way to go below this 26kb?

    Can you adjust jpegtran in some way?

    jpegtran can only do so much, as it always does lossless compression. You can save a little bit more with the lossless compression on our API service, but the “extreme” savings only comes with the lossy compression (also using the API).
