• I’m experiencing very high cpu load on my wordpress blog and it happens especially when I login and when I’m editing posts and pages (not when I’m changing theme settings, for example).

There seem not be suspect slow sql queries, probably it is some plugin but, is there an effective way to check which plugin?

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

No, I haven’t tried that yet.
I was wonderign whether there is a less disruptive way to identify cpu heavy plugins.
