Extremely Poor Thumbnail Quality

    I have a group of high-resolution images I’ve uploaded to my gallery, but the thumbnail images are of unusually poor quality.

    I’ve tried changing the thumbnail sizes. I’ve tried checking and un-checking the “fix dimension” box. I’ve tried changing the thumbnail using the “edit thumb” feature under the Gallery Manager. In each of these cases, I’ve made sure to regenerate the thumbnails, but nothing is working.

    Anyone else having this problem or know of a solution?

    Been messing with this all day, and still no luck. I’m getting a lot of blur and pixelation.

    Is anyone having this problem with their thumbnails?

    Just updated to the latest WP 3.5 install and the new Media handling – what has happened to ‘thumbnail quality’ – gone backwards!!!

    All my originals are good quality, this has not arisen before this last update to 3.5. Have tried regenerating thumbnails but no luck.

    Anyone with a trick to fix???
