The problem appears to be your server.

https://www.webpagetest.org/result/150720_KD_1BYA/ reports a time to first byte of 20.958 seconds. That’s way too long.

Time to first byte is how long it takes the server to respond to the browser with “Oh, hi, I’m a server.”

Basically, this has nothing to do with WordPress or your sites really, it’s literally taking your server 20.958 seconds to respond to any traffic.

You’ll need to contact your hosting provider about this.

Ok, thanks for your quick reply James ??

I will talk with my webhost again. Had them for many years and never had any problem before.

Do you think it can be an attack against their server?

It could be any variety of things slowing the server down really. An attack on your sites, an attack on any of the likely thousands of other sites on the server, poor server configuration, hardware failure, cabling failing, routing failure, datacenter failure, etc.

In short, when it’s a slow time to first byte, there’s nothing under your control that you can do to fix it. It’s all up to your hosting provider.
