F8 Static – Reading setting "Blog pages to show at most"

Hello! I’ve been desperately trying to resolve what should be a simple issue.

The way the F8-Static theme seems to read the “Blog pages to show at most” setting works fine for the homepage but the when you click “older entries” everything is thrown off.

The homepage counts the lead image as part of the count. Because of this you have to choose “10” for the # of posts to show (the grid below is in three columns.)

When you look at older entries, the lead image is gone and you ONLY have 3 rows so it shows as being 2 images short. This page is meant for a multiple of 3.

Does anyone have any suggestions for this? Thanks so much!
