F8 WIDGET as Category List

  • Hi All.

    I would very much like to have a WIDGET ITEM that links to a CATEGORY LISTING OF THUMBNAILS so that clicking on this Widget Item brings you to a Category Listing which you can then click on to get to a blog post.

    I would like to do this in a way that the CATEGORY is not listed under Categories (since this means the information will show twice).

    Is there a way to have a Category so that I can create blog posts in my normal manner but have them show up via a link from a WIDGET ITEM and not have them show up under the Category List?

    Right now I have someone creating a PAGE for me which contains links to BLOG POSTS. The two problems with this are that in the future I have to FIRST create the BLOG POST and /then/ link create a link to it on this Page and then we also don’t know if we can keep the blog posts from /also/ showing up as a Category, which defeats the whole purpose of moving the information to clarify the layout in the first place.
