Facebook and Google comments not showing up

    Okay, after further investigation, Facebook comments are being imported into the wordpress database but are not being displayed under facebook comments.

    I’m not sure what your speaking of , the plugin does not import comments into the WP database at all … do you have another comments plugin active or something ?

    The only comments plugin I have is LiveFyre. The comments that are on Facebook are showing up in my comments database on wordpress, but not in the Facebook comment stream.

    I don’t know what to tell you but that’s what’s happening.

    Thats very strange behavior and not done by this plugin in any way … the G+ Comments plugin intentionally does NOT import any commenting systems comments into the WP database … for many reasons.

    So to begin with I would investivate what is importing your Facebook comments into your WP comment database and nip that right in the bud before it becomes a very big problem …

    That said when FB comments are enabled and have been left using the FB social widget they show when the comment is left on the site, not on the FB page and then “pulled in” somehow … the Google+ system works similar to this but not Facebook.

    I found another plugin that was importing Facebook comments. However, I do have a problem where LiveFyre is showing up twice on the same tab, with different post counts.

    I’ve disabled the plugin until I can resolve this as it way too confusing for my readers.
