facebook auto publish

  • My wordpress site automatically publishes posts to my facebook page and I want to disable this. I’m not running any plugins to do this. I had linked the two months ago but no longer see any option to link my blog to a facebook page. I’m running a Headway theme, if that is helpful at all. Any help would be appreciated!

  • I’m guessing you have Jetpack installed? You need to look at the publicize module and then go to configure to change your settings.

    thanks stacy…but I actually don’t have jetback installed. i did at one point months ago but it has since been deleted…

    Such a mystery! Headway is a premium theme and you should head on over to their support forum and ask them this question. Might be a theme option.

    You can go to your apps list on facebook and see the apps that you’ve given access to for publishing to your facebook page. You will know if some plugin name there sounds familiar.
    In some cases, it should say(posted via) on facebook.. and that should have the name of the app.
