    Hello everyone,

    So i recently discovered Facebook Publicize and its working fast for all the posts of my website. Only one problem is happening which I cant find how to edit it.

    When my post is shared automatically on facebook the 200 first words of the article are showing+the article link+the photo of the article.

    Is there a way I can edit what I want to be shared on facebook? Like I want to put the 20 first words and not 200 and also remove the link and have only the photo shared.

    Hello, there!

    The link will automatically show every time using Jetpack’s Publicize, but you do have the option to add a custom excerpt (up to 256 characters, so your 20 word limit would work great here) instead of the default text before publishing.

    Hello MadHatter!!

    Thanks for the instant reply. Your method worked perfectly but when you write an article the title automatically goes to this custom description. If I go to delete the title from custom description and write what I want its buggy and it doesnt get deleted. I have to try several times before title gets removed…

    I am using Gutentor page builder!

    Hey @billakosgr,

    I wasn’t able to reproduce this with a basic install of WordPress + Jetpack, so this definitely isn’t expected behavior. Can you create a post without Gutentor active? If that doesn’t reveal anything, you can re-activate it and try toggling off any other plugins that are related to building posts, then see if the post title is automatically included in the custom Publicize excerpt.
