    Hi,

So I have Facebook like boxes and buttons all over my page. The relevant Facebook script is loaded from Super Socializer and concatenated into a single .js file by Autoptimize – this loads the sdk.js asynchronously.

Unfortunately, when I get the popups plugin to ‘not’ load the Facebook scripts, the Facebook like box does not load in the popup. It does not load even when the other FB boxes and buttons have loaded on the main page.

Is there a way to fix this without getting the plugin to load the unnecessary Facebook sdk.js? Right now this plugin’s sdk.js from Facebook is affecting my PageSpeed scores.

If you disable ajax mode it works?

Hmm… unfortunately I also use W3TC, and as I understand, if I disable Ajax mode the popups will keep on showing to users (even if they close it)?

I have the same issue. Is there a solution in the settings without de-activating Super Socializer or Autoptimize?

    Greets,

@thehungrygeek that’s not the case. It all depends on your display rules. IF you have mixed rules could be the case, but if you have simple rules as show in page XXX will work just fine.

@damian I have set the popups to show to users only once every 2 weeks. Just to confirm – if I deactivate Ajax mode and I use a page caching plugin, will users be shown popups all the time?

The rules I use are simple – i.e. show on posts only.

The cookies are not affected by ajax mode. Just the display rules.
Just image you have show popup if user is admin only. and the admin visits the page when the cache is generated. After that normal users that see the cached page will see the popup also. that’s why ajax mode exists. But for your case is perfectly safe

Alright I’ll try some tweaks and see if it works.

Thanks for your help on this!
