Facebook browser not showing Foo galleries

  • Hi,
    It’s a very simple site on WordPress but if you link to the page through facebook the galleries don’t show. They show and work just as required on the site (https://helennoakesjewellery.com) through any other browser I’ve tested.
    Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi @quickerer,

    Could you tell me what device and OS version you’re using so we can try replicate this? I’ve tested on my iPad and iPhone and everything is working as expected however with in app browsers like the Facebook app has it uses your default built-in OS browser to display the page so this is probably down to the OS browser version.

    Hi,
    Thanks for getting back to me.
    I’ve tried it on an iPad 4 running iOS 10.3.3 and iPhone 6 running iOS 11.2.
    It works fine using Safari on those devices but not when accessing the site through Facebook.

    Hi @quickerer,

    Could you please try accessing https://foo.gallery in the FB browser and see if the galleries show up for you? We’ve been using that demo site to test with on our iPhones 4 to 6 and iPads using iOS 9.3.5 to 11.2 and the galleries are showing in the FB in app browser.

    I’m just wanting to make sure this isn’t a possible theme issue or something else related to your site specifically as we are unable to replicate it at the moment.
