Facebook & Calendar URL Problem

  • Is anyone else having a problem with adding the URL for Single Event details to their status on Facebook? When I try to add the url to an event with the generated code (url), it just shows a LOT of info about multiple calendar events and calendar related labels.

    The calendar works fine on my website. Anyone have an idea what I may be missing here?

    Can you provide an example of the URL you’re adding to Facebook?

    The url is just my domain name/events/?mc_id=5

    Hey, Lace – I’ve responded to your support request; but I believe what’s happening is that Facebook is using the canonical URL supplied by WordPress instead of the URL you’re sending. I’m adding a function to My Calendar so that it will provide a custom canonical URL for event pages.
