Facebook Comment Avatars without API

Hey everybody,

I’m building a new website for myself, and I would like people to be able to leave comments with their facebook profile-picture as avatar. I found plenty of plugins that can achieve this, but they require me to get a facebook account and create a facebook app. I don’t want to sign up with facebook, not even a fake-account. Is there another way to make wordpress and facebook understand each other?
