• Hello,
Recently we started using the Facebook Comments system on my blog. We’ve installed the ‘Wpdevart Facebook comments’ plugin. The result looks pretty nice, but…it seems to be on the wrong place. For example:
    https://www.passion2create.nl/blog/2017/01/update-hoe-gaat-het-met-mijn-kamerplanten-verzameling/

You can see that the comment system is placed directly under my blogpost. While it should be placed under the ‘sharing is caring’ plugin. I’ve been asking around and people told me to change the code in Virtue, but they couldn’t tell me where or what to change….so. Is there anyone who can help me with this?

  • Hey Moeke,

it looks like you have a plugin that’s adding the recent posts carousel in that area.

That is not being controlled by the theme. I would try to configure whatever plugin you’re using for that to see if it is possible to change where the carousel is being outputted, or find a different plugin for adding this that allows more customization.

aawh I am so happy, to find back this old topic back. I lost it so was unable to answer. It’s 3 months later now but unfortunately I was unable to fix the problem. We have tried 2 of 3 plugins, but…bad luck. If you have any suggestion left, it is very welcome ??

The best way to determine which plugin is outputting this carousel would be to go through all of the active plugins on your site and deactivate one by one to see if the carousel goes away when a certain plugins is OFF.

Let me know if you find anything!

    -Kevin
