Hi, thanks for the prompt response. Unfortunately, I’m trying to post to a facebook group page. I’ve already successfully setup twitter and vkontakte connection, but have some issues with facebook.

Then most probably you just hit a known bug in Facebook API that breaks posting to groups using non-numeric names.

There is a simple workaround for it.

Please use the numeric URL of your group in the plugin settings, https://www.facebook.com/groups/{group_id}/

You can find your Group Id in your source of your Facebook Group page by searching for group_id=

Thanks and pardon me I haven’t found that known issue. All I see was to bigint table field. Yes, you’re right. The error disappear and now the status is that everything is alright. However, when I’m trying to make a test post I see the following:

Error:(#200) Must have permission to see group. Valid app_id ERROR:(#200) Must have permission to see group.

There is a question in you FAQ with the same error. I’ve double check app id and secret key and re-authorize the app. No success. I’ve delete all the permissions and authorize it once again – the same error.

Are you sure your account has rights to post to that group?

Yes, because I’m the founder of that group.

I appreciate your help, but I guess I sorted that out.

My group type is secret. I’ve just switch it to a public one (just for test purposes) and test once again. Everything works fine. If my ticket will help someone else that will be great. Thanks once again. I’m setting the ticket as resolved.

i running multisite all my user having same error message like yours, but can’t find solution to solve it yet

sonnycool, in my case that was
1. change the group link with group_id rather than name
2. set group as public, it was secret

Secret groups require a different way of making posts. We will add support for them to the next version.

I am also trying to setup my blog to autopost to my facebook group and i tried everything. Still, the posts are not posted in the facebook group.

Can I post to multiple groups at once? How? I can auto post to group that I made but I can’t post to those other groups.

You need to add several instances of the same account and each time configure it to the different group.

when I try to Authorize my Facebook Account, I get the following message:
