    Hi!
I am trying to add Facebook Conversion API with Complianz but I do not know, what is the best way.

I tried it with the plugin ‘PixelYourSite’. After setting up the plugin, I see it in Complianz ‘integration’ in Plugins. But how is this working? Do I have to adjust any other settings? Is the Plugin (Facebook Conversion API) loading after consent to ‘Marketing’ or ‘Statistic’?

Or is there another simple way to make the integration of Facebook Conversion API? Adding a Script to the Script Center?

By the way… there are some plugins in the Complianz integration activated automatically (Contact Form 7, Disable and remove Google Fonts, Siteorigin Widgets, …). The plugins are loading when there is no consent to cookies too.

    Regards

    Hi @philwied,

PixelYourSite has an easy implementation (including test event) available in your Facebook dashboard. Complianz can then block the PixelYourSite scripts before consent is obtained, and the tool would be loaded on “Marketing” consent.

Please note that activating an Integration doesn’t necessary mean that the entire plugin would be blocked. For example, the Contact Form 7 integration applies only for its’ ReCaptcha implementation (in earlier CF7 versions), but it wouldn’t result in the actual Contact Form plugin being completely blocked.

    Kind regards, Jarno

Thank you for your quick response!

So there is nothing I have to do. Complianz blocks the PixelYourSite scripts automatically before consent to marketing cookies?

Nothing to activate? No scripts to add to the script center? …

    Hi @philwied,

Yes, Complianz blocks the PixelYourSite scripts with the integration enabled.

I just noticed one thing though, you may need to block one additional PixelYourSite script in the Script Center, at the Block a script, iframe, plugin field. You can block the script by adding pysOptions as the “URL to block”.

We will include this adjustment in an upcoming release of the plugin as well. The remaining parts should still work out of the box with the PixelYourSite integration enabled.

    Kind regards, Jarno

Thank you very much! This really helped me a lot.

One more question: If I set up Google Analytics with PixelYourSite too, GA is blocked the same way as Facebook Conversion IP by Complianz plugin?

    Hi @philwied,

Glad to hear that helped! Yes, if you also add Analytics within PixelYourSite and block its’ scripts as mentioned previously, this would also prevent it from loading Analytics before consent is obtained.

    Kind regards, Jarno
