Please see here — Your SERVER SIDE pixel is bugged out.

    My BROWSER side hack works.

    Hello Andrew,

Your screenshot is from Pixel Helper Chrome extension. This can only test the browser events, not CAPI (server-side) events.

Maybe the confusion is related to the fact that your pixel name contains “CONVERSION API”. But that’s just the name you gave it, and it doesn’t mean that you really test Conversion API events.

In your screenshot the pixel works. You have a green PageView and a green Purchase. The fact that there is a reported non-working PageView can be false positive, probably related to a cache.

You can confirm this by doing a test inside Events Manager.

To test Conversion API, go inside Events Manager, click on Test, click on Server, copy the test code. Open PixelYourSite, paste the code in the dedicated field, and save. Refresh any cache you might have, and browse your pages.

If everything works as expected, you will see a pair of browser + server events, with the server event being deduplicated.

If you don’t see it, the most common issues we saw are:

    1. Some JS error related to admin-ajax – Check your browser’s console for errors.

    2. Hosting limiting external calls – contact your hosting support and ask them if this is the case.

    3. Sometime there is a mismatch with the rights of the account owning the pixel and the one generating the server side token.

    4. Something completely different I don’t know about. Contact us on our website, so we can take a closer look.
