Facebook Counter Not Working

Do you have a site URL I can use to check the possible cause for these zero counts?

I ran the URL through the Facebook debugger at https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/og/object/ to refresh Facebook’s cache of the page, then liked the page myself.

It is now showing three FB likes for me: https://d.pr/i/1fOHX

If you have any other posts displaying this behaviour, it’s worth visiting the debugger, pasting in your URL, and clicking the “Fetch new scrape Information” button.

Ah awesome! I done the same with another post that had the same problem and it looks like it’s working fine.

But is there a way to avoid having to do this process for each post?

Glad that was useful! You may find the counts automatically update if you wait for Facebook’s cache to clear. That typically happens automatically ever 24 hours or so.

If waiting a couple of days doesn’t reset counts for other posts, you can always give Facebook a quick bump with the debugging tool.
