Facebook does not recognize my encoding

  • Hi!

    My blog (https://elaparemmin.fi/blogi/) is actually written in finnish, but since finnish wp-forums are pretty much dead, I’ll just ask help here.

    Otherwise everything works pretty much okay, but when I try to link my entries to Facebook, it fails to show the “preview”-caption correctly. Characters like ?, ? and even quotation marks and dashes show incorrectly. Topic of the posts is actually always correct, but the text is wrong.

    Any thoughts on this?

    Addition:

    I’m also using Subscribe2-plugin for email notifications. It also fails to show that post excerpt correctly.

    Forget the last addition, got subscribe2 to work by adding xml:lang="fi". Facebook is still broken though.
